TUBO reimagines the classic ashtray through a modern lens, drawing inspiration from Bruno Munari’s iconic design from the 1950s. The design softens Munari’s sharp-edged cube into a flowing cylinder, symbolizing a shift from rigidity to openness. Made from resin and mirrored steel, TUBO contrasts matte and glossy finishes in a striking way. While it begins as an ashtray, TUBO has the potential to take on many other functions.
